I am officially stupid....here is why

Lately I do things with zero common sense..

I never, ever say anything accept the word "Yes" when most of the time I wanna yell "no no NOOOO"

At least 4 times a day I whisper to myself..."Hey Amber, why in the hell did you do that??"

for example

Hey Amber, why in the hell did you say yes to having a magazine come and shoot your house when you can barely remember to brush your teeth or pick up your laundry off the floor??

Hey Amber , why in the hell would you decide to rip open your bathroom two days after your husband gets home from being gone for 2 months and then force him to do demo and think about plumbing when all he wants to do is spend time with his kid and wife....

Hey Amber, why in the HELL would you offer up what little time you have left in your insane life and schedule 4 room installs and a brand new client design project in the next 2-3 weeks (read above husband just got home and leaving for two months at the end of June, remodeling bathroom, and have a huge photo shoot)...all to be completed the end of June???

Why in the HELL?????

As Katie likes to say "I come from a place of yes" and as I like to say "chaos is comforting"

Sometimes I must admit though, my hungry ass bites off way more than I can chew.

Lets seg-way into my bathroom affairs... a great example of taking on too much...

This is all happening now and I wish I could wiggle my nose to make it all go away.

I am obsessed with Instagram....it's a well known fact

(if you don't follow me yet the name is amberinteriors)

anyways,

I like instagram a lot. 

I like it a hundred times better than Twitter  and

 I like it a million times better than Facebook (does anyone like FB anymore?)

And I always want to print out some of the pictures I take on instagram cause they always look so cool but the quality is a bit bunk from my lame ink jet printer,

well I DIED when I stumbled on THIS amazingness

I went poster cray cray and ordered myself 2 because they were just way to cool not too!

So I may or may not have a magazine coming to shoot my house in a month and I may or may not be remodeling my bathroom and I may or may not be scrambling to make it real real pretty real real quickly..

As if I needed to add one more thing to my list...wah wah wah

Anyways , I have loved the look of a textured or boarded wall...

So on my list of "to do's for the big day" I have decided to panel my walls...

Not like a tacky 70's ranch house, but more like an easy breezy beautiful old beach house

Hi lovers!

So I have ants in my pants...

I have a plethora of lovely new clients here at AID and I wanna share each and every last detail with all of you, but I am keeping it cool and will share it bit by bit as things progress,

Like a tease....

anyways,

I am pretty sure the Interior Design gods that be have got my back because I keep getting the greatest clients EVER!!!

I mean, how is it possible that I can get beautiful, smart, funny, and style savvy clients back to back with not a bad one in the bunch??

One of my newest clients is pretty much perfect in every way so I have lovingly dubbed her

"Client Pretty Much Perfect"

We are starting off with her teen daughters bedrooms and so far we have made some great progress...

Here is what we have come up with so far and after its all done I am pretty sure I might just move myself right on in.

So much cute in one room!

 I am sick AGAIN.

this is not even funny. 

I have not gotten ill this many times in one year in as long as I can remember.

I basically slept ALL day yesterday and then went to bed at 8 last night and I am still not right.

officially burnt out and wanting some summertime vacation and escape from it all.

Yesterday the new issue of Lonny came out and featured the Queen of MEGA TALENT herself, my pal designer Mrs. Jamie Meares. 

Chick has just out done did herself.

Every page I kept saying things like

"oh no she didn't"

"snap"

"bam bam holla"

"Day-umm"

and then at one point I raised the roof.....
